Our story
In 2016 Montana's Metalworks, Mobile Welding Services were formed in the Tampa Bay area of Florida by native and professional welder, me, Montana Brown. Over the years I have had the opportunity to work with many fine craftsmen and trades workers, which have all helped to hone the skills needed to be a successful welder and business owner. In 2022 myself, along with my partner/apprentice, Ren, relocated to the Cincinnati area where we have been working to get involved in our local communities. We are happy to offer a wide range of services including design and fabrication for custom projects of any size or perceived difficulty. Our team are equipped for and trained in all welding processes, working with all metal types.
a DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MOBILE WELDER...
Problem solving is our biggest strength.
Every single day, we are faced with a variety of dynamic challenges. We may be hired to repair an excavator bucket, broken welds on a boat trailer or a bent staircase railing. We have fully rebuilt floating docks for a public marina in the City of Gulfport, Florida after a powerful hurricane ripped through. We've fabricated and replaced yacht railings after a boating accident. Our team installed a 20' I-beam in a family's home as foundation for a second story. Most recently we built a drive-thru coffee shop out of three shipping containers.
Frequently we will find ourselves working smaller jobs as well. Often, we'll do minor gate and railing repairs. Restaurants and food trucks tend to experience a lot of broken welds on various kitchen equipment, which we usually work on after hours as to not interrupt regular business hours.
As you can see, mobile welding is an ever-changing business. We pride ourselves on our ability to find solutions, always. Whether your flat-top grill wheels break mid-rush, your walk-in cooler needs a new ramp, or you need a staircase rebuilt, give us a call any time day or night.

Let's plan your project from start to finish! Our team has experience reading and analyzing engineering blueprints which help us bring jobs to fruition. Customers don't always have professional blueprints to work from and that's okay! We are amazing at coming up with custom design and fabrication ideas to solve any problem.
