Our story
Montana's Metalworks was founded by me, Montana Brown, a professional welder with years of experience in the trade. In 2022, my partner/apprentice, Ren, and I relocated to the Cincinnati area, where we’ve been excited to immerse ourselves in the local community and contribute to the region’s vibrant crafts and trades scene. We are proud to offer a wide range of welding services, including custom design and fabrication for projects of any size or complexity. Our team is fully equipped and trained in all welding processes, working with various metals to deliver high-quality results for every job. a DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MOBILE WELDER...
Problem solving is our biggest strength.
Every day brings new challenges and unique projects. Whether we’re hired to repair a damaged excavator bucket, fix broken welds on a boat trailer, or straighten a bent staircase railing, we’re always ready to take on whatever comes our way. We've rebuilt floating docks for a public marina after a devastating storm, replaced yacht railings following a boating accident, and installed a 20-foot I-beam to help support a second story in a family home. Most recently, we completed the construction of a drive-thru coffee shop made from three shipping containers.
In addition to larger projects, we also handle a variety of smaller, everyday jobs. From minor gate and railing repairs to fixing broken kitchen equipment for local restaurants and food trucks, we’re often called to do after-hours work to minimize disruptions to their operations.
As you can see, mobile welding is an ever-changing business, and we thrive on the variety. Whether it’s fixing a broken flat-top grill during a busy rush, installing a new ramp for a walk-in cooler, or rebuilding a staircase, we are here to find the right solution—anytime, day or night.
